I don't actually know what to think of on seeing this! In a sense it was really beautiful but in another it was quite disturbing! I guess it depends on what angle it is that you look at it! if it's actually the butterfly skeleton used on the left then it's a little freaky! But it's also very clever and a wonderful way of looking at a butterfly! Butterfly's are known for the pretty or not so pretty patterns on their wings! but beneath the wings, is another level of beauty! they are delicately created. simple yet complex! Sort of like a piece of jewelry or item of clothing like a suit jacket! on the outside, it could be the most simple structure! But if you take it apart, you'll be surprised how much time and effort has gone into making it! have a look at these images. It was part of a project at uni where we had to take apart a suit jacket and shirt.

I recreated this dress in about 2 days at uni. I used bits of shirts but most of it came from the suit jacket. the shoulder padding in it self had so much quality ad so many layers, and the amount of fabric inside was unbelievable! So just like the butterfly, there's so much more texture beneath than there is on top. Don't be afraid to try and discover it. You've got nothing to lose after all!
